Nature One is one of Europe’s largest open-air electronic dance music festivals. The festival has been banging away since 1995, every time on the first weekend in August. The venue is always the former American missile base Pydna, near Kastellaun in the Hunsrück. Nature One grew to become the most popular electronic music festival in Germany and continues to grow to this day. Visitors can expect four days and three nights of camping, partying and electronic beats under the open sky.

Partying in a rocket bunker

The pioneering festival is visited by dance enthusiasts from all over Europe, especially from Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France. With techno, trance, house, hard style, goa, drum ‘n’ bass and classics on the programme, everyone can party here. The site is divided into no less than 4 main floors and 19 club floors where the electronic beats of more than 350 DJs blast through the speakers. You can party at many different locations in open air, marquee tents or even rocket bunkers spread over a festival area of more than 1 km²! The club floors are smaller areas for a few hundred people.

Artists and fireworks

Names like Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, Nina Kraviz, Paul Van Dyk, Charlotte De Witte, Angerfist, Eric Prydz, Adam Beyer and Chris Liebing have previously performed at Nature One. The festival mixes the best and most original artists together with breathtaking visual productions, so you can understand why more than 60,000 festival-goers attend every year. Nature One is also known for the amazing fireworks show on Saturday night. Not to be missed!

Nature One festival is great for all camping fans. The size of 150 football pitches. Two and a half kilometres from one end to the other. The CampingVillage with its more than 50,000 inhabitants may be the size of a city, but instead of shopping malls, bank branches and office buildings, there are bouncy castles, foam parties and techno stages.

The campsite is a festival in itself

The campsite has always been the second festival, with many hobby DJs and trucks loaded with generators, turntables, speakers and even lighting. So no tacky stuff, but DJ sets with equipment that rivals that in small clubs! Some people who don’t want to or can’t afford the entrance to the festival site just buy a camping ticket to have a cheaper alternative festival weekend. On Thursday, the DASDING crew welcomes you to the CampingVillage with driving beats and heavenly sounds.

Our FestiTent village is located on the NATURE ONE campsite. The village is open to all campers, so your friends who might not have a FestiTent are always free to come and visit you.

Opening hours & Amenities

Opening hours are from Thursday 3 August, 10 AM till Monday 7 August, 18 PM.

Accommodation in a pre-pitched FestiTent is possible during the opening hours of the campsite. Booking a FestiTent is the only way you can reserve a premium camping spot in advance. The reception of the FestiTent is open 24/24 and you can check in whenever you want. The FestiTent is yours during that whole period.

As FestiTent guest you can use all facilities on the campsite, such as: hot showers, clean toilets and food & drinks. And of course you may participate in all camping parties!

You pay and receive your camping tickets when you enter the campsite (payment only in cash).

FestiTent voucher

After your booking you will receive an email as payment confirmation. Our Guest Support will check and confirm your booking. You will then receive an email with your FestiTent voucher. This voucher only gives you access to your FestiTent, not to the festival or the campsite. The entrance ticket to the campsite must be purchased separately in the ticket shop of the festival.

Is your spam filter stronger than our vouchers? No problem, you can download your voucher straight from the FestiTent Guest Center.

A few days before you travel to the festival, you will receive an email from us with additional information about the location and check-in.

Check-In

After entering the campsite, proceed to the FestiTent reception. Our hosts will be waiting for you and guide you to your FestiTent. You can check in by handing in your voucher. If you have lost your voucher (your dog ate it, your printer ran out of ink just when you tried to print it or your phone ran out of power) we will find your name in our check-in system. No worries! During the check-in we will check if your FestiTent is damage free and fill in a check-in form together.

Check-Out

Come over to the FestiTent reception when you want to check out. We will check together if your FestiTent was not damaged during the weekend. If everything is ok, your deposit will be refunded the day after. From then it’s out of our hands. Depending on your payment method it can take several weeks before you will see it appear on your account.
